Introducing Victoria Bridge Club
Victoria Bridge Club was founded in 1954 and moved to its present two storied building in Thorndon in 1973. The Club’s wide range of members enjoy a mix of club and tournament bridge.
Club bridge is played Monday to Thursday each week, mostly in the evenings but with some afternoon sessions. In addition to its regular weekly sessions the Club runs various monthly events, participates in inter-club competitions and stages several weekend tournaments each year.
Victoria offers two series of beginners lessons each year and also stages a range of improvers lessons and coaching sessions for members. Club members have borrowing privileges from the Club’s sizable library of bridge books and magazines.
